This Privacy Policy describes how GlowMe ("we," "us," "our") handles information when you use the GlowMe mobile app and related services.

1. Privacy-First Principle

GlowMe is designed to collect the minimum data needed to operate core app features. We do not sell personal data and we do not use cross-app ad tracking to build advertising profiles.

2. Information We Collect

Photo and Camera Data

To provide ratings and AI features, GlowMe accesses your camera or photo library when you choose to scan. Photos are processed to generate your trait scores, AI plan, and My Future transformation images. We retain scans tied to your profile so you can track progress over time; you can delete them at any time from within the app.

Session Data

To provide glow-up features, we store items such as trait scores, daily mission history, streak/progress data, XP/level data, badge records, and scan history tied to your device or account.

Billing Data

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Technical Diagnostics

We may process limited diagnostics (such as app version, device type, and crash logs) to maintain reliability and security.

3. How We Use Data

  • generate honest AI trait ratings, glow scores, and AI plans;
  • create My Future transformation images and before/after comparisons;
  • maintain your progress scrapbook, streak, XP, and badges;
  • operate and improve the Service;
  • comply with legal obligations.

4. Service Providers

We use trusted processors to run the app (such as cloud infrastructure, AI vision processing, and subscription management). These providers process data only under instructions and safeguards appropriate for their role.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only when needed to provide the Service, fulfill legal obligations, or protect users and platform integrity.

6. Retention

  • Scan and session data is retained while your data is active on-device or in your account, unless you delete it sooner.
  • If you request account/data deletion, we delete or anonymize data subject to legal/operational obligations.

7. Your Controls

  • Delete scans and session data from in-app settings or by contacting support.
  • Manage camera and photo library permissions in iOS Settings.
  • Manage subscriptions in Apple ID settings.

8. Children

GlowMe is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that personal data from a child under 13 was collected without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

9. International Processing

Depending on where you use the app, your data may be processed in regions outside your jurisdiction with contractual and technical safeguards.

10. Apple and App Store Compliance

This policy is provided to satisfy App Store transparency and legal requirements, including disclosure of subscription and data-handling practices. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in App Store settings. Nothing here limits rights provided under applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "Last Updated" date and may also be announced in-app.
